As your typical office dweller, keeping that fat off can be quite a challenge. Let alone keeping fit. Being an avid gamer on top of that and having a distinct hatred of gyms. Ive been struggling for years to find something I like. Gyms are often to posey and stale enviroments to achieve and real exercise. 45 minutes gentle power jogging isnt really exercise. Plus if you cant afford a personal trainer its very hard to achieve and real change.

Thats why I love British Military Fitness. I was a little worried when I went for my free trial, imagining a scene from Full metal jacket or something. I was happily proven wrong, everyone was very positive.

Its a great way to have fun outside and push yourself much further than you could normallly in the gym.

Northern Quarter are a young Manchester based 5-piece rock n roll band making a big noise in the city right now. With a powerful and unique sound with influences from The Stooges to The Stone Roses, and heavy guitar riffs combined with a strutting vocal reminiscent of early Iggy or Jagger, Northern Quarter live are one of those bands that force you to wonder why we have put up with blandness for so long… This is a band that prides itself on the support of their fans, we have immense appreciation for everyone who supports our cause!

There playing this sunday 4pm at Rubinski’s Fallowfield, Manchester, Northwest. Come along
